PLAYING AROUND WITH ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
I’ve taken some interest in the profound abilities of artificial intelligence to create. Truly profound. While learning about the various use applications, I’ve been doing stuff with Midjourney, feeding it text prompts and working with it to arrive at good (used subjectively, of course) outcomes. Here are some of the results. Only showing some because the page loads slowly when the images are too many. Perhaps, I’ll compress them and re-upload later.
PLAYING AROUND WITH PHOTO MONTAGE
Sometimes you write a story and want an image that captures the various elements, but there isn’t one. So you’re forced to go with something basic or innovate. I recently started experimenting with photomontage as a way to illustrate ideas.
DIGITAL ILLUSTRATION
I present to you another recent pastime — making digital illustrations using an app called Kreta. Been doing this with my touchscreen Dell laptop and fingers. Should get significantly easier once I start using the stylus.
INFOGRAPHICS
One of the first genres of journalism I learnt was data journalism, so I have been introduced to the world of infographics for many years now. I think the more I design, the better I get. Well, that’s not a surprise now, is it? Haha. Some of the graphics here are several years old; I have arranged them in no particular order.
